RADIO X special broadcast: Sunday, Oct. 30,
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.: A.M.V. Eieruhrcountry - Best off! For years the most popular live show with listener participation in the vanilla club on Radio X: Eieruhrcountry on call with A.M.V., the "beginners with previous knowledge" Kemal Wegda & Max Schumacher. During the broadcast, callers specified a theme, genre, or mood. A.M.V. improvised a completely new, never-before-heard song of 3 minutes live, until the egg timer rang. Two voices and a studio full of instruments. Later also with the enchanting Mary-Anne as an improv trio. – A.M.V. Eieruhr-Country auf Ruf ran from 2002 to 2009 in the vanilla club on Radio X Frankfurt and reached a large audience:
"One would have really wished for the Grimme Prize for this show." (listener comment on facebook)
We celebrate 25th anniversary. The 2CD edition has been sold out for a long time, so check it out!
Listeners play music through their telephones in Studio 1 of Radio X and Max Schumacher picks up, is amazed, guesses and brings the telephone music on air: genre - cord & beep. Canned or live, own or not, world premiere, mainstream or weird, really antique, played on the banister or rapped out of the tram on the way - it doesn't matter. It only has to be through the phone, because everything is the same in the phone sound, glossy audio like scrappy punk. Telephone format radio. After 3 minutes it's over and it's the next turn. If nobody calls, there's a break in broadcasting or the moderator goes nuts. Spirit of vanilla club!
by and with Max Schumacher. Independent, also self-produced music. Indie, Eclectic, Krautrock, Psychedelic, Funky, Jazz'NoJazz, Punkrock, n'Roll, Beat, Danceable, Noise, Field Recordings - what else???
